This other flasher perched right in a ray of sunlight on these leaves,

allowing us to capture this shot with such strangely contrasting light.

It was almost as if nature cast a spotlight on this one for us.

We were hiking a dirt road while birding near a microwave

tower in Colima when this flasher landed on a leaf at head-height over the road.
